Vic: Man dies in house fire
A man's body has been discovered by fire officers after they put out a house fire inMelbourne's outer east overnight.
Country Fire Authority units arrived at the house in Montrose, about 12.45am (AEDT)to find it well alight.
After putting out the blaze, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus found the bodyof a man in the bathroom of the single storey house.
Police say the dead man, aged in his 30s, lived alone.
Detectives from the Arson Squad are investigating the cause of the blaze.
