VIC: Adelaide dean moves to Melbourne

MELBOURNE, Feb 28 AAP - The Very Reverend David Richardson, dean of St Peter's Cathedral in
Adelaide has been appointed Anglican Dean of Melbourne, the church announced today.

Mr Richardson will preside at the city's St Paul's Cathedral, which he says is right at the
coalface with his constituents, from prosperous professionals enjoying inner-city living to
homeless youth.

Mr Richardson, 52, takes up the position in mid-July.

He will replace Bishop James Grant, who is retiring after 14 years as dean of Melbourne.
